  • My family immigrated from Iran to Israel when I was 10 years old.

  • I live currently in Tzur- Hadassah with my family: my wife Victoria and my two sons Eithan and Daniel.

  • I have recently completed seven years postdoctoral training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard Medical School, where I worked on different molecular mechanisms involving asthma pathogenesis.

  • Currently I am a senior researcher and lab manager at the Pediatric Nephrology Unit, at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center.

  • Our main research goal is to understand the molecular basis determining nephron (the kidney functional unit) endowment and number during embryogenesis.

  • I believe that our research will ultimately pave the way to development of preventive care for patients with high risk for kidney disease.
