​​My family immigrated from Iran to Israel when I was 10 years old.

I live currently in Tzur- Hadassah with my family: my wife Victoria and my two sons Eithan and Daniel.  

I have recently completed seven years postdoctoral training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard Medical School, where I worked on different molecular mechanisms involving asthma pathogenesis.

Currently I am a senior researcher and lab manager at the Pediatric Nephrology Unit, at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center.

Our main research goal is to understand the molecular basis determining nephron (the kidney functional unit) endowment and number during embryogenesis.

I believe that our research will ultimately pave the way to development of preventive care for patients with high risk for kidney disease.
