The pediatric nephrology research lab at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center aims to understand the mechanisms underlying kidney diseases in children and discover innovative therapies to improve the quality of life of thousands of kids around the world.

Our current main research interests are - 

-  Kidney disease in children with a history of prematurity and maternal starvation.

-  Tuberous sclerosis complex disease

 

The lab has been established in 2017 by Dr. Oded Volovelsky the head of the pediatric nephrology unit in Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center and has already won prestigious research awards and grants.
